Upon the darkened hill doth rise,
and beckon forth the night,
a pair of gleaming amber eyes
which calls me from the light.

When I sit upon said hill,
and watch dear Luna climb,
the darkness holds me perfectly still,
through forever and all time.

Still the darkness flows up my mount,
the blackned shadows seem to fly,
so many shadows a huge amount!
Creeping swiftly, they can not die.

I am still.
I can not shout.
Against my will,
they black me out.

The sky is dark,
the world is nigh.
A single lark,
sets out on high.

No, a lark is small
this "bird" is not
I hear its call
It mustn't be caught!

Fly dear friend!
